Inspiration: Dr. Payne worked in the corporate world for many years, but desired to work in an environment where she could provide individuals with better service than those of the corporations with whom she was employed. She possessed an extensive educational background in a diverse array of fields and determined to provide those services through the establishment of her own business. Thus, KARMEN EAP INTERNATIONAL was founded in 1992. Located in Costa Mesa, California, the Company specializes in the provision of employee assistance program, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, substance abuse counseling, and other services, including crisis interventions. In addition, KARMEN EAP INTERNATIONAL assists corporations in minimizing lawsuits and managing disgruntled employees. To this end, attention is focused on crisis intervention when corporate clients are victims of robberies. suicides, or homicides in the workplace. With the assistance of contracted professionals around the United States as well as abroad, the Company is able to provide services on an international basis.
